Projects
Here are some of the projects that I have been working on recently:
Completed
CSC309 A3: kääntää Translations – Assignment 3 of CSC309, introduction to web programming. A web application built on Django 1.1.1 that lets users add, remove and edit translations
CSC309 A1: kääntää Translations: Assignment 1 of CSC309, introduction to web programming. A simple javascript table that lets users add, remove, and edit translations.
Docx to Doc Batch Converter: A command line tool that converts a bunch of docx documents into doc. Note: Requires MS Word 2007 or higher!
Jump Stacks: A Windows 7 application written in C# that allows the user to create customized Jump Lists.
Grksm to Unicode: A batch converter that will process Microsoft Word documents and convert instances of Grksm symbol font into Unicode symbols.
CSC302 Winter 2009 Team Project: Implement various change requests and feature requests for the open source charting application JFreeChart
Photosynth of BA: Photosynth model of the Bahen Center for Information Technology @ the University of Toronto
CSC301 Fall 2008 Team Project: A Java application that can identify the differences between two images. The app can also grab images from Flickr photostreams.
Project Argobox: An ambitious (and crazy!) plan to create a computer case that would be entirely filled with mineral oil.
Abandoned
DIY Multi-touch: A straight build of the Instructables project found here. It really is unfortunate that I couldn’t finish this due to lack of time. Cedric and I had already gathered all of the materials; all we had to do was put the thing together. Stay tuned though, because I think we just might have some ideas on how to make good use of a 100 or so high intensity IR LEDs
