Speed of the Site?

I’ve noticed that the load times on the site have been pretty slow.  I didn’t even notice until now because I have Google Gears installed on both my computers.  I think the main cause of the slowdowns is the fancy photo “lightbox” plugin.  The plugin itself accesses a javascript file that’s not installed locally on [...]
