Also, I&#039;m not sure what differences are between a project and a business but I know that with a business the documentation is required. And a deadline has to be met, because if they aren&#039;t set, then slacking tends to happen =P</description>

		<description>Very informative post! I totally agree with the &#039;Write Stuff Down&#039; part, and in fact even if you&#039;re working solo on a project it&#039;s important to keep track so that you know where you are when you are back from your week long holiday. 

Being able to discard your work on the project is key- do not fall into the &#039;sunk cost&#039; trap. One of the other abilities I wish we developed more was our refactoring skills. With refactoring, I&#039;m sure there are some work that wouldn&#039;t need to be discarded.

Last thing I&#039;d like to say is, if you&#039;re working with someone for the first time and inexperienced- be prepared to discard your first (few) projects.</description>
