End of a School Year, Summer Work in Hong Kong

My first year back in school after PEY and its finally over, woo hoo!  It wasn’t nearly as painful as I thought it’d be; there were a few rough patches, but overall it has been a memorable year.

Looking ahead now, I will be spending the next 3 months in Hong Kong. I will be leaving on  May 14th and won’t be back in Canada until August 11th.  In preparation for this trip, I have spoken with some of my relatives there.  One of my uncles is a professor of theology at CUHK, and he needs some help setting up a database for a Greek <-> Chinese lexicon that he has developed.  I’ve been offered a position as a junior research assistant to help him with this project, and I have only just recently accepted this offer.  As of now, it looks like I’ll be on my own for this project, so its going to be a strange mix of interesting, exciting, and scary all at the same time.  I just hope I don’t screw up :S
