So I was looking into ways of administrating this blog from my beloved crackberry Blackberry Bold; and as it turns out:1) third party BB apps suck and 2) WordPress has no love for Blackberry users, there’s an awesome app out there for the iPhone but nothing for Blackberry! So, as a kinda workaround I’ve installed the WPhone plugin to the site: this gives a nice clean mobile interface for when I use the web admin page from my Bold. This lets me do some basic administrative stuff like write and edit posts, but it doesn’t let you upload photos. After a bit of investigating it turns out that you can directly e-mail photos through Flickr, and Flickr will automatically generate a post on your blog. All you have to do is link your blog to your Flickr account. As you can see there are some problems with this, there’s a bunch of links that I’d much rather not have, and my e-mail signature also shows up at the bottom of the post. Maybe a bit more tinkering around with the settings can fix that…
